A top price for Paul Morrison
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Post- War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Protoplasm by Paul Morrison. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36), 47% above the upper estimate. With this result, Protoplasm is even the most expensive work of art by Paul Morrison that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Paul Morrison
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post- War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Protoplasm von Paul Morrison zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Protoplasm sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paul Morrison, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
