Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Morrison could be acquired at Phillips in 12 - in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work CYME (Study) changed hands for GBP 318.00 (€ 362.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Morrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Morrison konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 12 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit CYME (Study) für GBP 318,00 (€ 362,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Morrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
