Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Morrison could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Paracladium changed hands for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,776.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Morrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Morrison konnte im April 2015 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit Paracladium für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.776,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Morrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
