This artwork by Paul Aïzpiri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2019. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Jeune Homme Au Chapeau sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,247.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Aïzpiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,000.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Aïzpiri erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Jeune Homme Au Chapeau für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.247,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Aïzpiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.000,90) versteigert wurde.
