This artwork by Paul Aïzpiri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in October 2021. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale auction, the work Vase de fleurs sur fond bleu sold for EUR 32,760.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Aïzpiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,000.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Aïzpiri erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Vase de fleurs sur fond bleu für EUR 32.760,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Aïzpiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.000,90) versteigert wurde.
