Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Park Seo-Bo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June last year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Ecriture No. 40-73 sold for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,565.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Park Seo-Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83 in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,260,000.00 (€ 1,171,553.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Park Seo-Bo erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Ecriture No. 40-73 für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.565,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Park Seo-Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.260.000,00 (€ 1.171.553,93).
