Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Écriture No.070323 by Park Seo-Bo was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 301,985.42). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Park Seo-Bo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 10,260,000.00 (€ 1,171,553.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Écriture No.070323 von Park Seo-Bo wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 301.985,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Park Seo-Bo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 10.260.000,00 (€ 1.171.553,93) versteigert wurde.
