Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Écriture No. 060503 by Park Seo-Bo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 2,646,000.00 (€ 310,495.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Park Seo-Bo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 10,260,000.00 (€ 1,171,553.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Écriture No. 060503 von Park Seo-Bo kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.646.000,00 (€ 310.495,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Park Seo-Bo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ECRITURES NO. 10-79-83 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 10.260.000,00 (€ 1.171.553,93) versteigert wurde.
