Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Colombe by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2013. The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,970.84), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
