Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pablo Palazuelo could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Angular I changed hands for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 98,533.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Palazuelo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Virtus Marin, Vi, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 301,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Palazuelo konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Angular I für GBP 79.250,00 (€ 98.533,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Palazuelo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Virtus Marin, Vi beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 301.000,00 versteigert wurde.
