Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Pablo Palazuelo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2016. In the Art Contemporain Vente du Jour auction, the work Rima III sold for EUR 69,700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pablo Palazuelo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Virtus Marin, Vi in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 301,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Palazuelo erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du Jour wurde die Arbeit Rima III für EUR 69.700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pablo Palazuelo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Virtus Marin, Vi im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 301.000,00.
