Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Umbra I by Pablo Palazuelo was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 110,880.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Palazuelo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Virtus Marin, Vi, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 301,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Umbra I von Pablo Palazuelo kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 110.880,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Palazuelo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Virtus Marin, Vi beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 301.000,00 versteigert wurde.
