Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landschaft Mit Garten (Landscape With Garden) by Oskar Kokoschka was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2015. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 31,024.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oskar Kokoschka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Joseph De Montesquiou-Fezensac in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 20,395,200.00 (€ 18,012,187.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landschaft Mit Garten (Landscape With Garden) von Oskar Kokoschka kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 31.024,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oskar Kokoschka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Joseph De Montesquiou-Fezensac im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.395.200,00 (€ 18.012.187,58).
