Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Strawberries by Oliver Clare was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,603.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Oliver Clare have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Primroses and apple blossom, a bird's nest with eggs, on a mossy bank; and Grapes, plums, gooseberries, a plum and a strawberry, on a mossy bank in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 9,400.00 (€ 13,617.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Plums, Grapes And Strawberries von Oliver Clare kam im November 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.603,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
