Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Christies in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Composition with Numbers by Oleg Kudryashov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,369.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Oleg Kudryashov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Construction, plate N2344 in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,911.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition with Numbers von Oleg Kudryashov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.369,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Kudryashov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Construction, plate N2344 im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.911,78).
