etching and aquatint with hand-colouring, 1991, on wove paper, signed, dated and inscribed 'B.A.T doska 2129' in pencil, published by the artist, printed by Jack Shirref at the 107 Workshop, the full sheet, with a handling crease to the upper left sheet corner, otherwise in good condition

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples Including an Important Collection by Henry Moore, which included the work Icon (Plate No. 2129) by Oleg Kudryashov. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,725.38). Admittedly, works by Oleg Kudryashov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Construction, plate N2344 in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,911.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples Including an Important Collection by Henry Moore durch, in der auch die Arbeit Icon (Plate No. 2129) von Oleg Kudryashov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.725,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Kudryashov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Construction, plate N2344 im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.911,78).
