The work The Prodigal Son (Triptych) by Oleg Kudryashov was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,796.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oleg Kudryashov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Construction, plate N2344 in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,911.78).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Prodigal Son (Triptych) von Oleg Kudryashov wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.796,46) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oleg Kudryashov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Construction, plate N2344 im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.911,78).
