Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Princesse du soleil by Norman Bluhm was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May last year. It achieved a price of EUR 13,860.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Bluhm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chicago 1920 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,138,600.00 (€ 731,748.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Princesse du soleil von Norman Bluhm kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 13.860,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Bluhm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chicago 1920 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.138.600,00 (€ 731.748,07).
