In December 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work B.C by Norman Bluhm. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,297.58), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Bluhm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chicago 1920 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,138,600.00 (€ 731,748.07).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit B.C von Norman Bluhm zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.297,58) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Bluhm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chicago 1920 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.138.600,00 (€ 731.748,07).
