Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work For the Worshippers - Bodhisattva by Noh Sang Kyoon for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 22,830.24). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noh Sang Kyoon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work For the worshippers - Bodhisttva, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 540,000.00 (€ 54,239.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit For the Worshippers - Bodhisattva von Noh Sang Kyoon für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 22.830,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Noh Sang Kyoon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit For the worshippers - Bodhisttva beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 540.000,00 (€ 54.239,85) versteigert wurde.
