In November 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work For the Worshipers - Buddha by Noh Sang Kyoon. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 336,000.00 (€ 36,763.36), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Noh Sang Kyoon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot For the worshippers - Bodhisttva sold at auction in May 2006 with the realized price of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 54,239.85).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit For the Worshipers - Buddha von Noh Sang Kyoon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 36.763,36) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Noh Sang Kyoon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit For the worshippers - Bodhisttva im Mai 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 54.239,85).
