Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work For the Worshippers-Buddha by Noh Sang Kyoon was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 192,000.00 (€ 19,994.49). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noh Sang Kyoon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work For the worshippers - Bodhisttva, which sold at auction in May 2006 for HKD 540,000.00 (€ 54,239.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit For the Worshippers-Buddha von Noh Sang Kyoon kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 192.000,00 (€ 19.994,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Noh Sang Kyoon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit For the worshippers - Bodhisttva beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für HKD 540.000,00 (€ 54.239,85) versteigert wurde.
