Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Another End-Light Blue by Noh Sang Kyoon was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 10,622.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Admittedly, works by Noh Sang Kyoon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work For the worshippers - Bodhisttva in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 54,239.85).

Die Arbeit Another End-Light Blue von Noh Sang Kyoon wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 10.622,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noh Sang Kyoon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit For the worshippers - Bodhisttva im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 54.239,85).
