Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2013 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Nick Mauss for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,385.30). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nick Mauss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,890.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2013 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nick Mauss für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.385,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nick Mauss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.890,68).
