Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nick Mauss could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 938.00 (€ 860.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Mauss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,890.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nick Mauss konnte im September 2019 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 938,00 (€ 860,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Mauss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.890,68).
