Gilbert Collection of Important Prints by James Gillray (1756-1815)(Lots 251-363) auction, the work Hand of Africa (Right Hand), from 'Impressions of Nelson Mandela' sold for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,272.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cell Door, Robben Island in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 112,575.00 (€ 100,973.18).
