Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nelson Leirner could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sotheby'S Important Sporting Art changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nelson Leirner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homenagem a Fontana I in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 359,000.00 (€ 263,854.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nelson Leirner konnte im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Sotheby'S Important Sporting Art für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nelson Leirner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homenagem a Fontana I im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 359.000,00 (€ 263.854,18).
