Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nathan Carter could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction, the work URGENT NOTICE ADJUSTED CONTAINER ROUTE VLADIVOSTOK BOUND FOR SANTIAGO changed hands for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,095.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nathan Carter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mt. Pleasant Isn't Anymore, which sold at auction in July 2015 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,667.39).
