Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work We Are Pro Choice by Nancy Spero for USD 573.75 (€ 486.23). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Spero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love, Peace, Glory in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,959.74).
