Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work IX. Sabine DM Region of the Moon by Nancy Graves for USD 408.00 (€ 381.38). This price was achieved in the auction Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Graves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Identical With in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,327.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit IX. Sabine DM Region of the Moon von Nancy Graves für USD 408,00 (€ 381,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nancy Graves erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Identical With im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 111.327,09).
