The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,020.49), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nancy Graves achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Identical With in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,327.09).

Die Arbeit Clockwise in a Mixture von Nancy Graves wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.020,49) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nancy Graves erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Identical With im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 111.327,09).
