Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples, which included the work TV Tulips by Nam June Paik. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,383.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nam June Paik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fat Boy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,280,000.00 (€ 503,667.21).
