A top price for Monir Farmanfarmaian - as previously expected
In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Geometry Of Hope by Monir Farmanfarmaian. It changed hands for a price of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Geometry Of Hope is the most expensive artwork by Monir Farmanfarmaian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geometry Of Hope von Monir Farmanfarmaian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 375.000,00 (€ 431.378,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Geometry Of Hope das teuerste Kunstwerk von Monir Farmanfarmaian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
