Auction result well in line with expectations
The work UNTITLED (FARAVAHAR WINGS, ZARATHUSTRA) by Monir Farmanfarmaian was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 299,250.00 (€ 347,108.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 240,000.00 – 400,000.00. Other works by Monir Farmanfarmaian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2020 the work Geometry Of Hope was auctioned for GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37).
