Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection, which included the work Bouquet Of Flowers by Monir Farmanfarmaian. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,941.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Monir Farmanfarmaian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Geometry Of Hope in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bouquet Of Flowers von Monir Farmanfarmaian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.941,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Monir Farmanfarmaian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Geometry Of Hope im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 375.000,00 (€ 431.378,37).
