Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranianrecollections I by Monir Farmanfarmaian. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 237,000.00 (€ 269,917.76), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Monir Farmanfarmaian have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37) in April 2020 for the work Geometry Of Hope.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranianrecollections I von Monir Farmanfarmaian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 237.000,00 (€ 269.917,76) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Monir Farmanfarmaian haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 375.000,00 (€ 431.378,37) im April 2020 für die Arbeit Geometry Of Hope beobachtet.
