A top price for Moïse Kisling - as previously expected
The work Course de taureaux by Moïse Kisling was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Course de taureaux is the most expensive artwork by Moïse Kisling that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Course de taureaux von Moïse Kisling wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Course de taureaux das teuerste Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
