This artwork by Moïse Kisling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in November this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Baie de Saint-Tropez sold for USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,755.78) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Baie de Saint-Tropez für USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.755,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
