Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Mochtar Apin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 75,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,561.44). Admittedly, works by Mochtar Apin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Memecah (Triptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 88,259.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mochtar Apin kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 75.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.561,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mochtar Apin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Memecah (Triptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 88.259,44).
