The work Memecah (Triptych) by Mochtar Apin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 88,259.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. With this result, Memecah (Triptych) is even the most expensive work of art by Mochtar Apin that we have observed at auctions so far.
