Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Nude by Mochtar Apin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,133.48) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mochtar Apin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Memecah (Triptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 88,259.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Mochtar Apin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.133,48) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mochtar Apin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Memecah (Triptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 88.259,44).
