Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Crossroad In A by Miroslav Balka was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in New York in September 2015. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,599.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miroslav Balka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 180 X 40 X 142 in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.599,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
