Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Miroslav Balka was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,549.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miroslav Balka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 180 X 40 X 142, which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 60,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Miroslav Balka kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.549,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Miroslav Balka mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 180 X 40 X 142 beobachtet, die im April 2018 für EUR 60.000,00 versteigert wurde.
