Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Miroslav Balka was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2003. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,509.50 (€ 3,665.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miroslav Balka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 180 X 40 X 142 in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Miroslav Balka wurde im Oktober 2003 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.509,50 (€ 3.665,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miroslav Balka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 180 X 40 X 142 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
