Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled I by Mikhail Roginsky was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 49,000.00 (€ 33,360.57). Other works by Mikhail Roginsky have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2008 by the work Composition at GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,136.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled I von Mikhail Roginsky im November 2007 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 49.000,00 (€ 33.360,57) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Roginsky wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2008 die Arbeit Composition mit GBP 34.850,00 (€ 42.136,27).
