A top price for Mikhail Roginsky - as previously expected
The work Composition by Mikhail Roginsky was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,136.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Composition is the most expensive artwork by Mikhail Roginsky that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Composition von Mikhail Roginsky wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 42.136,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Composition das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mikhail Roginsky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
