Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Crosses by Michal Rovner for USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,067.01). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michal Rovner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shayara in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,245.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Crosses von Michal Rovner für USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.067,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michal Rovner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shayara im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 88.245,68).
