Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mathematics 3 by Michal Rovner was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 17,780.00 (€ 16,299.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michal Rovner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shayara in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,245.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mathematics 3 von Michal Rovner wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.780,00 (€ 16.299,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michal Rovner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shayara im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 88.245,68).
