Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Manning could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Microsoft Store Painting changed hands for GBP 188.00 (€ 223.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Manning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Manning konnte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Microsoft Store Painting für GBP 188,00 (€ 223,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Manning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Lies im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.921,39).
