Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Manning could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Bacon Wrapped Teriyaki Hot Dog changed hands for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,055.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Manning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).

In der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Bacon Wrapped Teriyaki Hot Dog für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.055,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Manning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Lies im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.921,39).
